Eikaiwa Lunch Hour

- Check with your JTE to find a spare classroom.
- Explain to your students that every Wednesday or whenever, up to five students can eat lunch with you in the spare classroom.
- Post a sign up sheet on your desk, explain that it is first come first serve. If you are really popular, you can let students make reservations in advance.
- Explain that the rules of the lunch are that you aren't allowed to speak ANY Japanese from the moment you enter the classroom.
