Takanosu

Night Bus

  • Jupiter departs from in front of the big Itoku at 21:30 and arrives in Nishi Ikebukuro at 7:25. Return bus leaves at 22:00 and arrives back in Takanosu at 7:35. One way ¥9,770, return ¥17,590. Tickets can be purchased from the ticket machines at Family Mart, Lawson, Circle K and a few more places.

Train

  • Akebono. Tickets can be purchased from stations that have a Green Window (Futatsui is the closest station with one). This train offers many types of seats, the cheapest option being the Goronto Seat (ゴロンとシート) which offers a bed without bedding. Departs Takanosu at 20:02 and arrives in Ueno at 6:58. One way ¥13,220.

Honjō

Night Bus

  • JR's Dream Chōkai departs from in front of Ugo-Honjō station at 21:25 arrives in Tokyo at 6:15. Return bus leaves at 21:20 and arrives back in Honjō at 6:10. One way ¥9,170, return ¥16,510. Tickets can be purchased at the train station.
